Annocement

Seminar on “Living with Contextual Modernism” on 16th and 18th of May followed by exhibition “Contemporary Norwegian Architecture 2000-2005” on the 19th of May at 4 pm at IOE, Pulchowk Campus.

The event is organized by The Norwegian Embassy in co-operation with the Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University.

The seminar will have speakers from both Norway and Nepal, and feature lectures and discussions on various topics in architecture.

The exhibition is produced by the National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design in Norway. This exhibition spans a wide range: From the new Bibliotheca Alexandrina and the University Centre at Svalbard, to the new bridge at Svinesund, which connects Norway to Europe. The 50 buildings presented here have been selected by a jury as the best examples of Norwegian architecture from the period 2000 - 2005
